Web UI
The web UI at siliconrig.dev provides the full SiliconRig experience without installing anything.
Dashboard
After logging in, the dashboard shows:
- Your active session (if any)
- Available boards with real-time status
- Credit balance and recent usage
- A short checklist, on a new account, until you have done each thing once
Starting a session
Click Start on a board type. The split button next to it opens the base image list: pick the shell, MicroPython, or Zephyr where it is offered, and the board boots that when the session begins. Writing it costs no credits, and the session stays in provisioning until the board is ready.
Serial console
The embedded terminal (powered by xterm.js) connects to your board's UART over WebSocket. It behaves like a local serial monitor:
- Default baud rate: 115200
- Send input by typing — data is relayed in real-time
- Copy/paste supported
Flashing firmware
- Click Flash Firmware in your session view
- Pick a file. The label beside the button says what this board type takes: a raw
.bineverywhere,.elfand Intel.hexon the STM32 boards,.uf2on the RP2350 - Progress streams live, straight from the flasher for that board,
esptool,st-flashorpicotool - The serial console reconnects automatically after flashing
Download Log saves everything the console has printed this session.
Power cycling
Click Power Cycle to toggle the board's USB power. Useful for recovering from hung firmware, and it keeps the session.
Ending a session
Click End Session or close the browser tab. If you close the tab, the session enters a 1-minute idle countdown: reconnect inside it to resume, and after it expires the session ends and the board is released for other users.
